Lobster Pot
All About Willow£450.00
Description
Derived from pre-plastic times when lobster pots were woven in natural materials, Catherine Davies and Pascal Carr have recreated the traditional form using willow from their organic crop on the Hebridean Isle of Eigg. This one-off sculptural piece has an old world energy to it. Its curved bottom means it rocks gently. We have enjoyed living with it at Bard as a curious artefact. With a ceramic or wooden platter placed on top, it makes a wonderful side table.
Height 45cm, diameter 60cm.
