Description

These bowls are wheel thrown by ceramicist Claire Henry in her Glasgow studio. They are glazed in four earthy colours inspired by the Autumnal palette of the heather, the hills and the glens that Claire escapes to for a break from her wheel. Drawn to the comforting scale and tactility of Claire’s work, Bard tasked her to create a series of especially generous bowls. These make beautiful serving ware, but we like the idea of hunkering down on the sofa with them filled with pho or ramen. Such is their scale it’s possible to properly watch tv whilst slurping, with no fear of splatters or spillages. Perfect companions for modern dining.
