Wild Clay Tea Set
Ingot Objects£200.00
Description
Thrown from wild clay found in Glasgow, each tea set comprises a teapot, two small cups and a round tray. Besides the ash-glazed interior of the pot itself, the set is unglazed to accentuate the pleasing tactility of the material. This brings a wonderful, primal quality to the ceremony of tea - grounding and elevating, simultaneously. Such is the talent of ceramic artist Jonathan Wade to amplify and frame the smaller moments of daily life with his Ingot Objects. They also make a perfect wedding present: tea for two forevermore.
