Cephalopod Vase
Manifesto£1,200.00
Description
Manifesto’s Cephalopod Vase is a beguiling creature. From some angles it appears to have emerged from the briny deep; at times it feels almost extraterrestrial. It has a shimmering presence that stands apart from time. Its outer glaze is formed with a combination of discarded Scottish mussel shells and kelp ash, lending a rough tactility to the ethereal fronded form. This is accentuated by the smooth, murky metallic glaze of the interior, which catches and reflects both light and shade. It’s easy to get lost in its human, animal and supernatural depths.
