This Wee Willie Winkie candleholder is made from recycled sterling silver by Sarah Cave in her Blairgowrie studio. Taking the Scottish nursery rhyme as her starting point for inspiration, Sarah has etched the ‘toon’ skyline of Edinburgh around the edge of the holder, and engraved lines from William Miller’s original 1841 poem in Scots around the inside. The charming piece has been hallmarked in Edinburgh, and would make a wonderful present for any night owl with a love for Auld Reekie.
