Rope knot platters

Description
Kevin Gauld practises what he preaches. True to his zero waste ambitions, he has saved the off-cuts from various larger furniture projects, finished them beautifully, and turned them into handy platters or serving boards. Seeing room for a little playful embellishment, he called on the services of local knot-smith and budding straw weaver Mark Cook, who works with Kevin on his straw-back Orkney chairs. Mark has knotted a beautiful rope handle into each board, thereby allowing them to be wall-hung too.
